Tandoor At Work

Day 18: A few posts ago, I had written about the outdoor food station located at one of the buildings here, and the freshly made kabobs. One of the other amazing things about the said food station is the tandoor (or tanoor in Persian, or clay-oven in English). Yes, they have a charcoal fired tandoor on the said roof top patio, where fresh naan is made as you order! In Canada, we are not even allowed to have a gas powered BBQ on our patio where I work, let alone something like this. The other really cool thing about India in general is that pretty much anywhere you go, the naan is made fresh on the spot. This gets huge points from a food-nut like me. *two thumbs up*.
