Making It Fresh

Day 15: in addition to the phenomenal view that the roof top deck offers (discussed in the previous post), it also houses an outdoor food station, where fresh kabobs and naan bread are made! In this picture, you can see a staff member preparing the dough to be inserted into the oven (aka tandoor), and the freshly skewered kabobs happily hanging out in the back, ready to be BBQ’d using charcoal; yes, charcoal, just the way the Persian in me likes it :) You can have a chicken kabob meal with a couple of naan breads for about $1.40! Now THAT’s what I am talkin’ about :) My Vancouver colleagues are going to be very jealous when they hear of this; although the fresh sushi station at the cafeteria back home is sorely missed at the moment.
